On her website GOOP, the actress Gwyneth Paltrow writes about learning of her father’s throat cancer diagnosis in 1998 while filming The Talented Mr. Ripley. She also details how it changed her approach to health and wellness.

Paltrow has found three doctors (in New York, London, and Los Angeles) and says they’ve helped her tremendously. She includes their tips on detoxification, sleep, and “policing your thoughts” here.
