ummmmm…i would have liked to hear what she was trying to get across, had she been allowed to finish one single thought without being interrupted and mocked.
I agree with nosexandthecity! I am a Colbert fan, but I often don’t watch the interviews because I think he interrupts too much. I understand that the interjections are his way of reinforcing the point of the person’s book, ostensibly because it would be too humdrum for us to listen to the interviewee actually say the point of their book. But I would rather hear what Suzie has to say in her own words, even if it isn’t as humorful.

I love him, but I agree he should not interrupt so much (think your theory on his reason for doing so is dead-on, Christina).
