Sisters in the struggle: Single women blog up!
So there’s definitely strength in numbers. As we journey through internet land we’ve found a few more blogs by us for us. We’ll be featuring content from these gals so check ‘em out! (They’ll always be listed in our links section.)
Dazzingly Single – encourages you to never base your happiness on someone else. Monique writes this:
I tried to live the fairy tale. I really did: You’ll grow up into a beautiful woman and meet a nice guy and get married and have beautiful kids and live happily ever after.
But after a few years of unsuccessful happiness and soul-mate searching (and believe me, I did search), I realized I already had the best soul-mate I could ever need: myself. That’s when I decided to let go of the whole thing and enjoy my life while falling in love with myself . . .
Does that mean I’ve decided to stay single forever? To be honest, I don’t know. But what I know for sure is that there is no rush. I no longer care about whether or not I ever get married or find a partner. There is too much to look out for.
Onely – Fresh perspectives on living solo
Onely, pronounced wun-lee, is an antiquated spelling of “Only”, as well as Lonely without the L, and of course the word “One” turned into an adjective.
When you type “Onely” into a famous web search engine, the famous web search engine asks you, “Did you mean: lonely“
No, we didn’t.
We chose the name Onely because the word helps reverse popular conceptions of what it means to be single. Here at Onely, we reject the negative connotations associated with being “alone” promoted by contemporary American culture, connotations that suggest emptiness–such as “lonely” or “looking”–or that pathologize those who exist in the world outside of a coupled romantic relationship.
Singulutionary – Stories, advice, humor and love from the Last Single Girl Standing.
I am an expert at being single.
Oh, I’ve been that single girl who did everything a desperate, horny, lovesick loser does. And I lived to tell about it.
Now, I live a happy, healthy, pity-free life and I seek to share my love for single (and desperation free) living with the world.

It sure is nice to see a site giving a positive spin for single women. When you become fulfilled and happy in life without worrying about a man, it will be so much easier to have a relationship if it comes along. You will be confident enough not to put up with any BS and happy enough to attract positive people. And if Prince Charming doesn’t come prancing along, you’ll still be happy. By best to you.
